Cascades supports Media Food Drive with donation of 36,000 toilet paper rolls
The US$33,000 contribution is part of the company’s broader efforts to assist communities in need
Cascades Inc. has strengthened its support for communities in need by donating hygiene products to the Media Food Drive. The company delivered 4,320 packages of toilet paper — equivalent to 36,000 rolls — to the organization’s Montreal office on November 28. The donation is valued at US$33,000.
This initiative is part of Cascades’ broader commitment to the communities where it operates. In 2024, the company provided more than US$50,000 worth of toilet paper and nearly 60,000 boxes to support various organizations in these regions.
“Cascades was founded and has grown thanks to the support of the communities in which we operate. It’s natural for us to give back by supporting local organizations that directly help those in need. We humbly hope that these donations will help them in their essential mission”, said Hugues Simon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cascades.
The company’s ongoing contributions aim to reinforce its role as an active partner in community well-being, with a focus on addressing essential needs.
