First Quality Tissue announces major expansion with new TAD paper machines
New facilities expected to boost production capacity by 2027, furthering commitment to market demand and customer satisfaction

First Quality Tissue has announced plans for a significant expansion, including the installation of two advanced Thru-Air-Dried (TAD) paper machines at a new, yet-to-be-disclosed location. The company projects that the first machine will become operational in 2027, with the second following approximately 18 months later.
This investment will enhance First Quality’s existing production capacity, which currently includes eight TAD machines across its two manufacturing facilities in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and Anderson, South Carolina.
The expansion reflects First Quality’s ongoing commitment to meeting market demands and customer needs. The company continues to invest in innovation and high-quality tissue products to support the long-term goals of its customers.
