Ontex completes the sale of its Algerian business
Hygianis SPA acquires Algerian operation of hygiene leader, marking a new chapter in the región
Ontex, a leading international developer and producer of hygiene products and solutions, has announced the completion of the sale of its business in Algeria to Hygianis SPA, its local distributor of more than 20 years. The transaction includes Ontex’s production plant and commercial operations in Algeria, as well as related exports to certain neighboring countries.
According to Gustavo Calvo Paz, CEO of Ontex: “With this transaction, the company advances its goal of becoming the number one trusted partner for retail and healthcare brands.
