Resolute Wins a Stevie Award for Great Employers
The company’s safety performance has been recognized by the international human resources community
Resolute Forest Products announced that earlier this month it has won a silver at the Stevie® Awards for Great Employers in the Achievements in Workplace Safety and Compliance category. The awards program “recognizes the world’s best companies to work for” as well as achievements that help create and drive great places to work.
According to Resolute, the judging panel commended its board of directors safety award program, which directs donations to charitable and community organizations chosen by employees when major safety milestones are achieved.
“Workplace safety and compliance are critical to keeping employees productive and meeting company objectives. [Resolute’s] initiative to share [its] safety goal with the community will undoubtedly improve corporate sustainability,” noted a judge.
The 2022 edition of the competition received over 950 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 26 countries in a wide range of HR-related categories, and more than 100 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process.
