At the beginning of September, Servipap was contracted by a North American tissue/towel converter to market a rewinder used to manufacture toilet paper rolls and hand towels for the institutional market (Away From Home). As part of the modernization of the plant with equipment utilizing updated technology and maximizing their physical space in the plant, the owner of the equipment entrusted Servipap with the tasks of marketing and carrying out the logistics involved to sell the equipment. The rewinder machine of original Italian manufacture was successfully marketed to a paper converter located in El Salvador, Central America. The equipment has been professionally disassembled and is on its way to its final destination for prompt installation. In addition, consumable spare parts were supplied as part of the scope.
This is another example where a pre-owned converting machine can be an affordable and beneficial investment for many paper converters to expand their product lines, increase capacity, meet immediate product demands or for new companies to enter the industry.
