Yankee Stadium partners with Sequel to provide free feminine hygiene products to fans
The initiative will install tampon dispensers in stadium restrooms, expanding access to essential products for women attending games and events
Yankee Stadium has partnered with Sequel to provide free feminine hygiene products to fans attending events at the stadium.
As part of the initiative, Sequel dispensers will be installed in women’s restrooms throughout the venue, offering free regular and super-absorbency tampons to visitors during games and other events.
The agreement is part of ongoing efforts by the New York Yankees to enhance the fan experience by introducing more inclusive amenities. According to the organization, approximately 1.5 million women attend events at the stadium each year.
Team representatives stated that expanding access to essential feminine hygiene products reflects the organization’s broader approach to evaluating and improving the overall fan experience.
The partnership also represents a milestone within the personal care sector. Through the agreement, Sequel becomes the first tampon company to establish a commercial partnership and product integration with a stadium in Major League Baseball.
For the brand, the presence at Yankee Stadium represents one of its most prominent collaborations and underscores its strategy of partnering with organizations with strong cultural influence and public visibility.
In addition to this agreement, Sequel has partnerships with the soccer club D.C. United, where it acts as a team sponsor, as well as with the basketball team Indiana Fever, where its products are also available free of charge in the venues.
