Sofidel America starts up third paper machine in Circleville

Sofidel America has successfully started up its third paper machine at the integrated Circleville facility in Ohio. The new line adds 70,000 tons per year to the site’s capacity, bringing the total to more than 200,000 tons annually.

With this milestone, Circleville becomes Sofidel’s most important production hub worldwide, reinforcing the strategic relevance of the North American operations for the Italian group.

According to the company, the project was completed on schedule, thanks to the dedication of all teams involved in the installation and startup process.

Already regarded as a benchmark in technology and efficiency within Sofidel, the Circleville plant further strengthens its competitiveness in the North American tissue market with the addition of the third paper machine.
