Ontex launches multi-liquid liner in Europe for women in perimenopause and menopause

Ontex Group NV, a leading international developer and producer of personal care solutions, announced the commercial launch in Europe of its multi-liquid liner, now available on shelves at a major German retailer, with further rollouts planned across Europe in the coming weeks.

The company said the launch is supported by strong consumer validation from recent tests, in which more than 90% of participating women indicated they would recommend Ontex’s multi-liquid liner and would purchase it again.

The multi-liquid liner is designed to address the evolving needs of women at different life stages by offering reliable protection for menstrual flow, light bladder leaks, and daily vaginal discharges—all in one discreet and comfortable solution.

 

According to the press release, research shows that daily liners are widely used by women for menstruation and everyday vaginal discharges, while protection against light bladder weakness remains a significant unmet need, often associated with perimenopause and menopause. The new liner aims to meet that need.

Approved as a medical device, the liner offers up to eight hours of leak protection and odour control, and is available in three sizes: regular, large, and extra large.

In a statement included in the company’s press release, a senior representative of the feminine care category said that Ontex understands that women’s needs evolve over time, and the multi-liquid liner is intended to provide comfort, confidence and protection across a wide range of intimate fluid needs. The solution reflects the company’s goal of offering smart, affordable products that adapt to women’s changing requirements.
