The Procter & Gamble Company has named Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of the Board, effective August 1, 2026. Jejurikar will assume the position while continuing to serve as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment follows the retirement of Jon Moeller as Executive Chairman. Moeller stepped down from the Board on July 31, 2026, and is scheduled to retire from Procter & Gamble on August 14, 2026.
“I want to thank Jon for his many years of tireless and steady leadership at P&G, having served in key roles including Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer throughout his 38 years of dedicated service to the company,” said Mr. Jejurikar. “Jon’s strategic vision has been instrumental in shaping the company P&G is today, and we have benefited from his unwavering courage and his profound care for this institution and its people.”
Jejurikar joined Procter & Gamble in 1989 and became a member of the company’s global leadership team in 2014. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions across multiple business categories, sectors and geographic regions.
His experience includes supporting the growth of several of the company’s core businesses, including its global Fabric Care and Home Care operations, with responsibilities spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has also contributed to the development of P&G’s corporate strategy and operational performance in areas such as Supply Chain, Information Technology and Global Business Services.
