According to a comparison of average prices carried out in the metropolitan region of Mexico City, with data from Inegi, from November 2021 to November 2022, most items analyzed showed significant growth variations, depending on the brand and product content.

Kirkland toilet paper, packaged with 30 rolls of 425 sheets, grew by 43.47%. The average price went from M$299 to M$429 by November 2022, which means that the consumer had to pay up to 130 Mexican pesos more than in the year for the same product, compared to the cost of the previous year.

Another brand that also recorded significant growth is Regio Luxury Almond Touch, which rose 36.14% in packaging with 18 rolls. The average price rose from M$142.50 to M$194.
