Essity unveils 2023 Sustainability Report

Essity, a global hygiene and health company, has published its 2023 Annual and Sustainability Report, reaffirming its dedication to enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities. The report underscores the critical role of hygiene and health in ensuring a dignified and healthy life, while also addressing the complexities, taboos, and stigmas associated with these issues.
HYGIENE AND HEALTH INITIATIVES
Essity is focused on several key initiatives to improve hygiene and health:
- Breaking taboos surrounding women’s health;
- Increasing recognition for caregivers, both professional and familial;
- Promoting knowledge of good hygiene practices and broadening access to these resources;
- Enhancing awareness and training for infection prevention and control.
In 2022, TENA’s “LastLonelyMenopause” campaign, which aimed to encourage open and generous discussions about menopause among women and society at large, was awarded the Gold Award at the 2023 British Arrows.
