Kimberly-Clark celebrates World Recycling Day with outstanding achievements in sustainability
Company announces major advances in its RightCycle™ Program and its environmental commitment for the future
In honor of World Recycling Day, established in 2018 which aims to highlight the importance of preserving resources and protecting the environment.
Also, The Kimberly-Clark Company has announced that, through its RightCycle™ Program, it has helped divert more than 5.5 million pounds of personal protective equipment (PPE) and polypropylene wet wipes waste from landfills, in partnership with its customers.
In addition, Kimberly-Clark Professional’s RightCycle program aligns with the company’s global ambition for 2030, which seeks to improve the lives of one billion people in underserved communities and reduce its environmental footprint. It recognizes the importance of a strong, sustainable approach to protecting natural systems and improving people’s quality of life. As such, the company remains focused on key areas such as carbon, forests, water and plastics. This commitment is reflected in the company’s commemoration of the #GlobalRecyclingDay.
