Kimberly-Clark sells its EPP business to Ansell for 640 million dollars
With this strategic sale, the company intends to focus on the Tissue and Personal Care sectors

Kimberly-Clark has announced the sale of its personal protective equipment business (KCPPE) to Ansell for a total of US$640 million, as part of its strategy to focus on its Tissue and Personal Care divisions. This move reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in these sectors, thereby reinforcing its position in the consumer products market. The sale will be made to Ansell, a company recognized for its expertise in safety solutions and the manufacture of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring a smooth transition for customers, suppliers and employees.
Ansell, for its part, will benefit from the acquisition of the personal protective equipment business, strengthening its market position and expanding its product portfolio. The company will also establish a transition services agreement with Kimberly-Clark to ensure a smooth transition and continue to provide business support to customers during the transition period.
This sale represents a strategic step for Kimberly-Clark in its pursuit of sustainable growth and operational efficiencies in its core segments, while ensuring a successful transition for all parties involved. In addition, as part of the transition process, various business support services will be provided for a period of up to 12 months.
