Arbex begins operations as independent joint venture between Kimberly-Clark and Suzano

New company starts operations with presence in more than 70 markets across five continents and appoints Ehab AbouOaf as chief executive officer

Arbex, the joint venture formed by Kimberly-Clark and Suzano, has officially begun operating as an independent company. The new business is positioned as an international tissue and hygiene company with operations spanning more than 70 markets across five continents.

The venture combines Suzano’s manufacturing capabilities and expertise in fiber production with Kimberly-Clark’s commercial operations and portfolio of tissue and hygiene brands. According to the companies, the combination is intended to strengthen the business’s global presence and expand its ability to serve customers and consumers across multiple regions.

LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCED

As part of the launch, Arbex also announced the appointment of Ehab AbouOaf as Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as President of Kimberly-Clark’s International Family Care & Professional business and will lead the company as it begins operating independently.

STRATEGIC MILESTONE

The launch of Arbex marks another step in Kimberly-Clark’s ongoing business transformation. The company said the joint venture supports its Powering Care strategy while reinforcing its purpose of Better Care for a Better World.
