Lucart supports Save the Children with projects dedicated to families and their children

For four years, the Italian paper manufacturer has been a partner of the non-governmental organization that works to defend children's rights around the world

Lucart, an Italian paper manufacturer known for its brands Tenderly, Tutto Pannocarta and Lucart Professional, has renewed its partnership with Save the Children, including three projects dedicated to families and their children: Spazio Mamme (Mothers’ Space), Fiocchi in Ospedale (Bows at the Hospital) and Punti Luce (Points of Light). The non-governmental organization has been working for over 100 years in the defense of children’s rights around the world.

“We are proud to renew our collaboration with Save the Children for the fourth consecutive year, a mission that fits perfectly with our values and which we are pleased to be able to accompany”, commented Massimo Pasquini, CEO of Lucart. “Starting this year, we will also make our contribution to the Punti Luce project in Potenza and Prato, in addition to the traditional support for Spazi Mamme and Fiocchi in Ospedale, as we have done before. Indeed, we believe that the actions promoted by Save the Children are essential to ensure equal opportunities for growth for all children”.

The Spazio Mamme project helps parents of children between the ages of 0 and 5 to identify and reinforce their children’s skills, manage economic resources and create conditions to escape poverty.

Fiocchi in Ospedale was created to promote the health of little ones in the first thousand days of life, the most important for all children, to listen and accompany future and new parents in a crucial period for the development of cognitive and relational skills and their children.

Finally, Punti Luce consists of educational spaces set up in the most disadvantaged areas of cities to offer free training and education opportunities to children and young people between 6 and 17 years old. In these locations, Lucart opted to redouble its investment and provide corporate volunteering activities.

In July, girls and boys from the “points of light” in Potenza and Prato will have the opportunity to visit the Lucart facilities in Avigliano and Borgo a Mozzano to experience the fascinating world of paper production up close.
