Sofidel’s Papernet brand launches door tissue and dispensers to improve restroom hygiene

Sofidel, a leading global provider of paper for hygienic and domestic use, launched its Papernet Heavenly Soft Door Tissue and Defend Tech hand towel dispensers. With heightened concerns around hygiene in public facilities – particularly in restrooms – the Door Tissue promotes cleanliness by turning restroom doors into touchless exits and eliminating contact with other high-traffic touchpoints such as elevator buttons. The Defend Tech dispensers feature unique silver-ion technology that repels germs and helps further reduce the risk of contaminated hands and surfaces.

“Some customers form perceptions of a business based on the level of hygiene in the facility, especially its restrooms,” said Fabio Vitali, Vice President, Marketing, Sofidel America. “Solutions like our Door Tissue and the Defend Tech dispensers allow businesses to help customers feel safe and stay clean.”

Paired with a waste receptacle, the Door Tissue can reduce touchpoints in a variety of environments. Restaurants, retailers, office buildings, hotels and casinos can strategically place Door Tissue dispensers in restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, or next to elevators, entrances and exits. In addition to limiting the number of people touching common surfaces, it enhances peace of mind for customers and building occupants. In addition, pathogens can spread via contaminated surfaces, so Defend Tech dispensers act as another hygienic barrier between clean hands and touchpoints.

“Not only do the Door Tissue and Defend Tech dispensers promote clean hands, they better preserves the cleanliness of the many touchpoints throughout a facility,” said Giorgia Giove, Marketing Manager – Away From Home, Sofidel America. “They also help project an image of cleanliness and care at a time when people are increasingly concerned about health and safety.”

The Door Tissue, constructed with Heavenly Soft Special technology, offers a luxurious combination of strength, absorbency and softness. The technology helps limit tears, making contact with contaminated surfaces even less likely.
