Soft N Dry Diapers Corp. welcomes industry veteran to advisory board

Soft N Dry Diapers Corp., a prominent company in the development of tree-free disposable baby diapers, has announced the appointment of Robert Sjöström as a strategic advisor and new member of its Board of Advisors, effective immediately. 

Robert Sjöström brings extensive global experience to his new role at Soft N Dry. His background includes senior leadership positions across various industries such as hygiene, health products, and strategic consultancy. His expertise in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation, and global operations is expected to significantly contribute to the company’s ongoing growth and innovation in the global diaper industry.

Robert Sjöström has had a distinguished career, including a significant tenure at Essity AB, where he spent 15 years in the executive management team. During his time at Essity, he served in various roles, including president for all Hygiene categories (including Baby), head of Group Strategy and M&A, and president of Global Operational Services and CIO. In his latest position, he managed a budget exceeding €7 billion and led global procurement, supply chain management, and IT services. His work in driving digital transformation and operational excellence across international markets has established him as a respected leader in his field. Currently, Sjöström serves as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Midsummer Solar and is a board member at Greenely.

As Soft N Dry continues to innovate with its ecoFlex Core technology, which eliminates the need for tree fiber in diaper production, the addition of Robert Sjöström to the advisory board is expected to strengthen the company’s strategic capabilities. His experience will be particularly valuable in navigating complex global markets and regulatory environments, including the EU Deforestation-Free Regulation (EUDR). 

In his new role, Robert will collaborate closely with the executive team and other board members to shape Soft N Dry’s strategic initiatives, focusing on the company’s expansion into new markets and the further development of its TreeFree Diaper™ offerings.
