Essity is a global hygiene and health company, located in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in Sweden in 1929, the hygiene experience begins with the acquisition of the Swedish company Mölnlycke in 1975.
The pandemic had a major impact on the people and general economy of the world. Because of this, Essity set three priorities: caring for people, contributing to society, and ensuring business success. With the blockades and restrictions due to COVID-19, there was a negative impact on Essity’s sales. However, in 2020 the company achieved its highest operating profit and highest EBITA margin.
