The Navigator Company again receives CDP’s highest “A” rating for Climate Change and Forests
The company once again joins the CDP A-List after achieving top scores in the Climate Change and Forests questionnaires
The Navigator Company has once again been awarded the highest “A” (Leadership) rating in the global rankings of CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) in the Climate Change and Forests categories, reinforcing its position as an international benchmark in sustainability.
This recognition places the company among the top 4% of approximately 20,000 companies assessed worldwide by CDP’s independent evaluation system, which highlights leadership, transparency, and the quality of reported information related to climate and deforestation risk management.
The 2025 assessment is based on information reported by Navigator to CDP for the previous financial year and results from a rigorous and independent process conducted by CDP – Disclosure Insight Action, the international non-profit organization that manages the world’s leading environmental disclosure system.
By achieving the highest rating in both questionnaires —Climate and Forests— for the second consecutive year, Navigator once again positions itself at the highest leadership level in climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as in the responsible management of deforestation risk.

In the Climate category, the “A” rating reflects the integration of climate-related risks into the company’s business strategy, the establishment of clear emissions reduction targets, the implementation of decarbonization initiatives, and the robustness of its governance, transparency, and reporting models.
In the Forests category, the top distinction recognizes the strength of the company’s systems for managing and tracing the origin of wood, the certification of forest management and chain of custody, and responsible raw material sourcing policies based on high environmental standards.
This performance is aligned with Navigator’s 2030 Responsible Business Agenda, which guides the company’s actions toward a low-carbon economy, biodiversity protection, and the sustainable valorization of Portuguese forestry.
