To encourage sports, INCAPE sponsors Brazilian basketball team
Always faithful to its ideals of developing society, the company took another step with its Pratica Mais project
In the current context, far beyond profit, there is great concern on the part of companies with all their audiences. Social responsibility, which aims to build ethical and transparent relationships with stakeholders, is an increasingly recurrent theme in organizational actions to preserve the community’s environmental and cultural resources.
An aspect increasingly disseminated by social responsibility actions is the incentive to practice sports, so that companies work by welcoming, inspiring, and encouraging people to participate in the most diverse sports.
INCAPE places a high value on culture and sports, which is why it has an exclusive program to encourage these practices. Aiming at the qualification and development of athletes and teams in the region where it is located, the company created the INCAPE Pratica Mais project.
In another stage of this project, INCAPE participated in a major step in the sport of the Brazilian city Blumenau, by sponsoring the launch of the Flamengo Blumenau basketball team which will compete in the Brazilian Championship of CBB (Brazilian Basketball Confederation).
“We work hard on social issues within INCAPE. It is part of our company’s manifesto to train those who do not have access to culture, education, health, sport, and leisure. We have sponsored basketball for some time, and we wish the team a lot of success, that this journey will be inspiring and awaken many new talents in the sport”, said Thiago Karam, director of INCAPE.
