United Converting Tissue to Present Innovative Solutions at Tissue Summit Latin America
The company will showcase its high-density product technology and deliver a presentation on artificial intelligence applied to converting

United Converting Tissue (UCT), a specialist in tissue converting solutions, will participate in Tissue Summit Latin America, taking place on September 2 and 3 in Santiago, Chile. During the event, the company will showcase its latest technologies, including automatic lines, Start-Stop systems, solutions for folded products, and packaging forming equipment.
Among its most notable developments is the UNICO365 rewinder, recognized as the gold standard for high-density products in the sector.
In addition to its presence in the exhibition area, UCT will deliver a technical presentation titled “AI Meets the Industry: UCT Copilot to Turn Plant Data into Support for Optimal Process Management.” The presentation will take place on September 3 at 10:20 a.m. and will focus on UCT Copilot, the artificial intelligence-driven evolution of its Digital Intelligent Dashboard (DID).
During the session, the functionality of this innovative tool will be explained. While the DID oversees all production assets, gathers structured data in real time, and detects inefficiencies, Copilot marks a significant advancement by using a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach. Based on a generative language model, it is capable of turning this data into accurate forecasts and actionable recommendations.
Thanks to its ability to correlate machine events, historical trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), the system proactively suggests the best actions to improve performance and prevent issues before they occur. In scenarios where no known solution exists yet, Copilot can learn from human experience to respond faster in future cases.
During its presentation at Tissue Summit Latin America, UCT will demonstrate how this technology can be integrated into continuous monitoring, providing AI-powered decision support. In this sense, UCT Copilot emerges as an innovative tool that enables tissue converters to bridge the gap between data and action, supporting smarter, more agile, and proactive production management.
With this technological approach, United Converting Tissue reaffirms its commitment to operational efficiency, innovation, and the digital transformation of the tissue industry.
