Burien’s Exchange Club to hold annual Toilet Paper Drive this weekend

Community urged to donate essential paper products or monetary contributions to support local food banks

The Exchange Club of Burien is preparing to tackle local shortages through its annual Toilet Paper Drive this weekend, calling on the community for support.

The service club will host two collection events on Saturday and Sunday, aiming to gather much-needed toilet paper for local food banks, as paper products are not covered by state assistance programs.

For the past 14 years, the Exchange Club of Highline has organized this drive to support area food banks.

The upcoming events will take place at the following locations:

  • Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Normandy Park QFC, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at Burien Fred Meyer, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Community members are encouraged to donate toilet paper or make monetary contributions to help families in need.
