Cascades and IGA stores in Quebec and New Brunswick relaunch annual campaign supporting pediatric cancer research

The campaign will support the Charles-Bruneau Foundation through donations generated from each product sold in Quebec and New Brunswick between April and May 2026

Cascades, in partnership with IGA stores in Quebec and New Brunswick, has announced the return of its annual campaign in support of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, which funds research in pediatric hemato-oncology.

Now in its seventh edition, the initiative will run from April 30 to May 20, 2026. During this period, for every Cascades Fluff & Tuff® product purchased at participating IGA stores, CAD 0.50 will be donated to the foundation, up to a total of CAD 40,000. The contribution is shared between Cascades and Sobeys.

The campaign is part of a long-standing partnership between Cascades, IGA, and the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, which for more than 35 years has supported research and projects aimed at improving treatment and recovery outcomes for children with cancer.

Since its launch in 2018, the initiative has raised more than CAD 250,000 to support pediatric cancer research, driven by consumer participation and partner engagement. Previous editions of the campaign have also highlighted young patients undergoing treatment or in remission.

Cascades emphasized the impact of the initiative on advancing pediatric oncology research. According to Hugues Simon, President and CEO of Cascades, every purchase directly contributes to funding scientific progress in this field.

Founded in 1964, Cascades is a North American company specializing in sustainable packaging, hygiene, and recovery solutions, employing approximately 9,000 people. Its shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CAS.
