Kruger Achieves EcoVadis Gold Level Rating
EcoVadis is among the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, intelligence and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains.
After earning a Silver rating three years in a row, Kruger has now has achieved the EcoVadis Gold level rating in recognition of its commitment to sustainability. This ranking puts the company in the top 5% of the global industry in terms of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), compared to more than 75,000 companies in over 200 industry sectors worldwide. The EcoVadis rating is based on criteria assessing organisation’s engagement and performance in the spheres of environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
Kruger’s highest score was achieved in the area of environment with a 90% rating in 2021, compared to 70% last year. This significant improvement was the direct result of targeted investments and actions the company has taken to reduce its environmental footprint across all of its activity sectors.
