Suzano readjusts pulp prices by up to US$ 80
New increases are applied as of May in the ton of eucalyptus and fluff pulp
As of this month, Suzano starts a new round of price readjustments for eucalyptus and fluff pulp.
For hardwood, the increase reaches US$ 60 in North America, reaching US$ 1,520 per ton. In the European market, the adjustment is US$ 50, reaching US$ 1,300 per ton.
However, the company has not yet defined the pricing strategy for May in the Asian market.
Other South American producers, such as Klabin and Arauco, have already announced an increase of US$ 30 in China starting this month, raising the price of hardwood fiber in that market to US$ 810 per ton.
As for fluff type pulp, Suzano will practice a global readjustment of US$ 80 per ton.
