West Fraser Timber Co Ltd. has announced the completion of the sale of its Quesnel River Pulp Mill and Slave Lake Pulp Mill to a subsidiary of a fund managed by Atlas Holdings, following the completion of regulatory reviews and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
Separately, these mills will be operated by Millar Western Forest Products, a member of Atlas Holdings’ manufacturing and distribution business group since 2017.

Quesnel River Pulp and Slave Lake Pulp produce bleached chemical-thermo-mechanical pulp (“BCTMP”) used in the manufacture of paper products.
