Who Gives A Crap and Heaps Normal: A Solidarity Alliance for Sanitary Access
Joining forces to build public toilets and promote health globally
Toilet paper brand Who Gives A Crap and beverage company Heaps Normal have announced a partnership to launch a limited edition non-alcoholic beer called Cheeky India Pale Ale (IPA). This collaboration aims to allocate half of the proceeds from the sale of this beer for the construction of public restrooms.
Who Gives A Crap’s chief impact officer, Robin Cho, expressed, “ our mission is to undo the world by donating 50 percent of proceeds to help provide access to clean water and a toilet for all,” “By partnering with Heaps Normal, we can reach many more homeless people to get closer to our big, bold goal of solving the sanitation crisis, and at the same time have fun doing it”
In addition, Heaps Normal pledges to donate an additional $1.50 per can sold to the non-profit organization WaterAid, a Who Gives A Crap partner.
Cheeky IPA is brewed in Australia and is available in four-packs for $16.99. It is also offered in a combo pack that includes 48 rolls of 100% recycled toilet paper from Who Gives A Crap for $77, as well as in a pack with forest-friendly paper towels from Who Gives A Crap for $37.
