Metsä Tissue ranks among top 1% in global sustainability ratings in 2025

In 2025, Metsä Tissue secured top-tier scores across all four categories evaluated by EcoVadis: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The Ethics category, which had been the company’s lowest-rated area in the previous year, showed the most improvement, a result that underscores Metsä Tissue’s firm commitment to ongoing development and ethical business practices.

In addition to reporting its own performance, Metsä Tissue also uses EcoVadis to assess the sustainability practices of its suppliers, ensuring a comprehensive and responsible supply chain.
