Hoffmaster Group, Inc., a manufacturer of single-use tableware, has announced a US$65 million investment to expand its operations in Clintonville, Wisconsin. The project includes the acquisition of an adjacent property and the construction of an 86,000-square-foot addition to the company’s existing manufacturing facility, creating more than 100 full-time jobs.
The Clintonville plant produces a range of paper-based consumer products, including paper plates, napkins, table covers, and baking paper.
To support the expansion, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has approved up to US$1 million in performance-based state income tax credits over the next three years. The incentive will be tied to the number of jobs created and the level of capital investment made during the project.
“By investing in sustainability and increased productivity, Hoffmaster is helping ensure Wisconsin’s paper industry will hold its global lead,” said John W. Miller, secretary and CEO of the WEDC, the state’s leading economic development organization. “WEDC is pleased to partner with them as we build an economy for all in our state.”
Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Oshkosh, Hoffmaster has maintained a long-standing presence in Wisconsin, a state with a strong forest products industry. Wisconsin ranks first in the United States for paper production based on forestry, logging, pulp, and paper activities.
Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2026, with completion expected in the spring of 2027.
