Clearwater Paper’s CEO remains in charge following employment agreement renewal

Clearwater Paper Corp., based in Spokane, Washington, has renewed its employment agreement for another year with Arsen Kitch, who will continue serving as the company’s president and CEO. The new agreement, effective April 1, replaces the previous one signed in 2020, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The agreement is set to renew automatically for additional one-year terms unless either Clearwater Paper or Kitch opts not to extend it.

He will also continue to serve on Clearwater Paper’s board of directors and will be nominated for re-election during the term of the agreement. Kitch took over the leadership of the company in 2020 following the retirement of Linda Massman.
