Huggies® Healthcare™ donates 180,000 diapers to Armonk, N.Y.
National Diaper Bank Network grant secures supply for Diaper Bank in Westchester
The Huggies® Healthcare™ brand of diapers has made possible the receipt of more than 180,000 diapers in Armonk, New York. This shipment, courtesy of the National Diaper Bank Network, will ensure the continued operation of the Diaper Bank in Westchester County, providing invaluable support to families in need in the region.
The importance of this donation is highlighted when considering that one in two U.S. households with young children face difficulties acquiring diapers. In addition, one in four parents or caregivers in need of diapers have reported absences from work or school due to lack of sufficient diapers to drop off their children at daycare.
This contribution will allow 914Cares, along with other organizations, to continue its work to combat the diaper shortage in Westchester County.
