Poo~Pourri launches flushable wipes in the U.S. designed to break down like toilet paper
The new product meets international disintegration standards and expands the brand’s bathroom hygiene portfolio in North America
Poo~Pourri announced the launch of its new flushable wipes in the United States, developed to break down after flushing in a manner similar to toilet paper. Unlike many wipes marketed as flushable that can clog plumbing systems, the product complies with standards set by the International Water Services Flushability Group (IWSFG), ensuring safety for pipes, sewer systems, and septic tanks.
According to the company, the wipes undergo rigorous testing to confirm their ability to disintegrate properly after flushing, addressing growing concerns among consumers and utilities about plumbing damage caused by non-dispersible wipes. The launch represents an expansion of Poo~Pourri’s hygiene solutions, reinforcing its focus on improving everyday bathroom routines.
The company’s founder and chief executive officer, Suzy Batiz, stated that the product was designed to combine skin gentleness, functionality, and thoughtful design. She also highlighted the packaging—currently patent-pending—which was developed to be discreet, visually appealing, and practical, without compromising performance or safety.
The wipes are available in packs of 50 and 150 units, offered in cucumber aloe and fragrance-free options. They are formulated with ingredients such as chamomile, oat extract, aloe vera, and vitamin E, and are cruelty-free, gluten-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic, making them suitable for daily use.
Designed to complement traditional toilet paper, the wipes aim to deliver a gentle yet effective post-use cleansing experience. The launch aligns with the brand’s broader strategy to provide end-to-end bathroom hygiene solutions, from pre-use odor control sprays to post-use personal care products.
The new Poo~Pourri flushable wipes are now available in the U.S. through the company’s website and at major retailers, including Walmart, with availability on Amazon expected in the near future.
