Sustainability and performance: MPH1865 and the 100th TouchMax
A French tissue paper company invests in Gambini’s 100th TouchMax embosser to enhance quality while reducing environmental impact

It is next to a historic arched viaduct — a symbol of both the city and the company itself — that MPH1865, a family-run French company specialized in the production of tissue paper, was founded.
MPH1865 has demonstrated its innovative approach through concrete actions: a few months ago, it launched the ambitious Renovelar brand, a range of professional hygiene products designed to combine high performance with true sustainability.
This range includes kitchen towels, toilet paper, and centrefeed rolls designed to minimize the use of raw materials, without compromising softness, strength, or absorbency. It is a line that embodies the concept of intelligent “deconsumerism” and stands out in the European market thanks to its reduced environmental footprint.
This innovation was made possible by a specific technological choice: Gambini’s TouchMax embosser — the 100th unit of which was purchased by MPH1865. Integrated into the new ProFlex 600 converting line, TouchMax has allowed MPH1865 to take its DESL Evo embossing technology to the next level: 60 tips, consistent quality, quick roll changeovers, and increased performance.
As Laure Miribel, Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing at MPH1865, explains, the decision was based on several factors:
“We chose TouchMax to improve the softness of our products, but also because we share the same DNA with Gambini: we are both family businesses, we believe in the value of relationships, and in innovation carried forward by the contribution of the entire team.”
It is precisely this common ground of values that makes her the right person to launch Gambini’s new editorial project: Beyond Business, which was created to showcase our technologies through the voices of our customers — through their motivations, their challenges, and their stories.
Behind every tissue converting line sold, there is a relationship built over time — one of mutual trust and shared vision.
Today, that story begins with the milestone of the 100th TouchMax and the investment of a company that believes in innovation, in people, and in the environment.
