Third edition of the Tissue Online Awards recognizes the most outstanding in the sector in ten categories

In addition to the traditional awards, the great novelty this year was the tribute to the most outstanding manufacturers and converters

The last few years have been difficult for the tissue paper sector, mainly due to economic instability and market consolidation. In addition, companies constantly must contend with tight margins and the high cost of inputs and raw materials.

Even in the face of many uncertainties, tissue manufacturers and converters have been strongly dedicated to innovation and new product development to remain competitive and continue to contribute to the production chain of a rapidly growing industry.

To honor and recognize the main personalities, companies and products that have gained visibility in the tissue and personal care markets during the year, after two successful editions, the Tissue Online Awards took place once again on Tuesday 5th at the Tivoli Mofarrej Hotel in São Paulo, during a formal dinner at the Tissue Summit Brazil 2024.

“This award is already a tradition at Tissue Summit Brazil, and we are very pleased to be able to honor the companies, personalities and products that stand out in the tissue market. They all contribute to a more innovative and competitive industry,” says Felipe Quintino, founder, and CEO of Nexum Group.

The awards were given in a popular voting phase, and the nominated suppliers of the tissue and personal care paper production chain who are partner customers of the Tissue Online Portal competed in ten categories. Check out the winners:

In addition to the traditional Tissue Online Award, the big novelty this year was the tribute to outstanding manufacturers and converters.

One of the highlights of the awards was the honor given to Ipel, a traditional Brazilian tissue paper manufacturer, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024.

Founded in the 1980s in Indaial (SC), the company began its career in the Brazilian market with the production of packaging paper, but soon migrated to the tissue paper market, consolidating itself as a reference in the sector with the production of toilet paper, paper towels and napkins through private and own brands.

In the last two years, Ipel has begun to implement a series of actions focused on digital transformation, with the aim of providing greater control and agility in its processes.
