Lucart wins Silver Award for EcoNatural project at 2025 Grand Prix de la Good Economie
The circular economy initiative has recycled over 12.5 billion beverage cartons in Italy and France, transforming waste into tissue products and dispensers

Lucart has been awarded the Silver Award in the “Circular Economy” category at the 2025 Grand Prix de la Good Economie, recognizing the company’s long-standing EcoNatural project. The award ceremony took place on June 4 in Paris, at the Auditorium of the Les Echos – Le Parisien group, gathering sustainability experts and professionals.
Organized by the INfluencia group and promoted by The Good media platform, the event annually honors corporate initiatives driving ecological and social transition.
EcoNatural, now in operation for 15 years in Italy and France, focuses on recycling beverage cartons such as Tetra Pak. The process separates and recovers all components: cellulose fibers are converted into toilet paper and other tissue products, while plastic and aluminum are reused to produce paper dispensers.
In 2024 alone, Lucart’s plant in Laval-sur-Vologne recycled the equivalent of 850 million one-liter beverage cartons. Since 2013, more than 12.5 billion cartons have been recovered through the program, contributing to waste reduction and more efficient resource use.
“Receiving this award is a great satisfaction. It represents important recognition of our commitment and our technological and sustainable know-how. With EcoNatural, we prove every day that growth and environmental responsibility can coexist,” said Benoît Cottel, General Manager of Lucart France.
The company views this recognition as motivation to continue investing in sustainable innovation, delivering concrete and measurable environmental benefits for future generations.
