Renova wins the Five Star Award 2026 with its TextilPapier toilet paper
The product was recognized by consumers for its innovative approach based on textile reuse and circular economy principles
Renova, a Portuguese tissue paper manufacturer, was awarded the Five Star Award 2026 for its TextilPapier toilet paper, a premium solution that combines textile reuse with circular economy principles.
The award marks the 12th time Renova has received the Five Star Award in Portugal and, at the same time, the brand’s first distinction in Spain, highlighting the product’s recognition in international markets as well.
Launched in 2025, Renova TextilPapier is the result of patented technology that enables the reuse of end-of-life textiles, such as T-shirts and jeans, transforming them into toilet paper and kitchen rolls. The solution contributes to reducing waste sent to landfills or incineration, integrating industrial innovation with circular economy practices.
The line is already present in markets such as Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, China, and South Korea, and is currently entering the French market as part of the brand’s internationalization strategy.
The Five Star Award is granted based on direct consumer evaluation, considering criteria such as overall satisfaction, innovation, and perceived quality.
