The company outlines progress across environmental, social, governance, and financial performance, reinforcing sustainability as a core business pillar

Brazilian company Suzano has announced the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report, presenting its main results and performance indicators across environmental, social, governance (ESG), and financial dimensions for the year.

Published in March 2026, the report reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen competitiveness while pursuing disciplined growth, with sustainability increasingly embedded into its business model and decision-making processes.

In 2025, the company reported net revenue of R$ 50.1 billion and adjusted EBITDA of R$ 21.7 billion, along with cash generation of R$ 13.9 billion. Additionally, 38% of its debt is linked to sustainability commitments, reinforcing the connection between financial performance and ESG targets.

On the environmental front, the company advanced in natural resource management, with 90% of its energy coming from renewable sources and a cumulative removal of 43.3 million tons of CO₂ since 2020. It also continued expanding ecological corridors, reaching over 214,000 hectares connected across key biomes such as the Amazon, Cerrado, and Atlantic Forest.

From a social perspective, the report highlights that more than 44,000 people moved out of poverty in 2025 through company initiatives, totaling over 140,000 beneficiaries since 2020. Progress was also made in diversity, with women holding around 30% of leadership positions.

The document also underscores investments in innovation and development, with R$ 199.2 million allocated to research and more than 860 patents granted or filed. These efforts are part of the company’s strategy to expand renewable-based solutions and strengthen its role in the bioeconomy.

The report was prepared in accordance with international standards such as GRI, SASB, and IFRS, and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring transparency and comparability of information.
