Kimberly-Clark would close the sale of Latin American assets to Suzano in the coming days
Despite the favoritism, RGE would also have presented an aggressive proposal to take the race

The consumer goods multinational Kimberly-Clark is in the process of announcing the sale of its assets in Latin America. Market sources claim that Brazilian pulp giant Suzano would be the favorite in the dispute and the transaction, conducted by J.P. Morgan, should be announced in the coming days, according to Valor Econômico.
Despite Suzano’s favoritism, the Asian Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) would also have presented an aggressive proposal to take the race.
The process of selling the company’s regional assets has been highly disputed and has attracted several competitors, such as the American Woodland, which recently showed interest in the business.
Sought, Kimberly-Clark informed that “does not comment on rumors or speculation in the market regarding its operations”. Suzano did not comment on the matter.
