Kimberly-Clark invests $15 million in French facility to increase production capacity
The Rouen facility manufactures the Kleenex Brand facial tissue, and the investment also was made to improve employees safety conditions

Billions of people choose Kimberly-Clark’s products each day to make a positive difference in their lives. That’s a big responsibility and one the company take seriously.
Therefore, K-C has recently made a $15 million investment in its Rouen manufacturing facility in France to improve safety conditions for the employees and to increase the production capacity for its essential products.
The investment went toward many machine upgrades, including the installation of a new cartoner machine that can make boxes of different formats and shapes at a faster rate.
According to the company, the investment also includes a major building modification to provide greater control of the building’s air quality, which will enable better working conditions for its employees while increasing the longevity of equipment and the building.
The Rouen facility produces the Kleenex® Brand facial tissue in mainland Europe and currently manufactures over 140 million boxes a year.
“By safely making more product to care for our consumers, this investment delivers on our commitment to provide Better Care for a Better World,” K-C wrote on its LinkedIn page.
